Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update and Information

At Sheaf Training Centre, we will continue to follow Government, NHS England and Public Health advice in order to keep each other ‘as safe as possible’. This includes the Government's recent announcement (on Sunday 28th November 2021) in regards to, from Monday 29th November 2021, staff, students and visitors (unless they are exempt) wearing face coverings in the communal areas and corridors of schools, colleges and universities across England. In addition, we continue to recommend and encourage wearing face in all other areas across our Campus. The relaunch of this measure comes directly after the Prime Minister announced new rules on face coverings for shops and public transport (this comes into force on Tuesday 30th November 2021), following the detection of the new Omicron Covid-19 variant.

We are continuing with our existing approach which means we will continue to ask that all individuals on Campus follow the ‘Hands. Face. Space.’ principles. Therefore, when at Sheaf Training Centre, we ask that people wear face coverings in all communal areas and spaces (unless exempt), social distancing is applied throughout the Campus, and hands are washed regularly. We respectfully encourage all to take COVID-19 lateral flow tests to help detect asymptomatic cases and prevent the spread of the virus. You can click here to order free packs of rapid lateral flow tests to be sent to your home.
